Education Qualification
- Qualification for Junior Research Fellow, DRDO.
- B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc in First Division with NET/GATE
OR
M.E./ M.Tech in First Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level. - Specialization:
- Materials Science/ Materials Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Metallurgy/
Production Engg./ Nano Science/ Aerospace
Salary
- Monthly Stipend Payable:- Rs.37,000/- Per month (Consolidated)

- The mode of interview will be “in-person” or “via video conferencing” and whichever is suitable to DIAT shall be intimated to the shortlisted candidates.

- Some Important Points:-
- Based on the suitability for the project, the applicants will be called for an interview (in person or via video conference). The shortlisted (for the interview) candidate will be individually informed via email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview of any mode.
- Candidates have to have their original applications with all necessary educational and other supporting documents/project reports/publications etc. along with one set of self-attested copy of each, at the time of interview.

- Offer of JRF position does not confer any right for absorption in DIAT (DU), Pune.
- The qualification prescribed/ experience gained should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions/Industries.
- The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidates to be considered at every stage of the selection process. In case of a large number of applications,
based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Principal Investigator may restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking, the qualifications and experience over
and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement, into consideration. Therefore, it is the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the application clearly with supporting documents. - Selected candidate is required to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer letter.
