Age Limit
The age limit for HSSC Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 is between 18-25 years (On the first day of the month in which the applications are invited for recruitment of Constable i.e. on 01-02-2024).
Relaxation in Age :-1.Vide Government U.O. No. 9/18/2024-2 Cabinet Dated: 22nd January 2024, three years relaxation beyond the prescribed respective upper age limits to candidates of all categories as a one-time measure.
Note (i) :- For Ex-servicemen-The break in service between the date of discharge and
between the 1st day of the month (i.e. 01.02.2024) in which the enrolment process is
started, shall not exceed four years as per rule 12.24 (1) (c) of Punjab Police
Rules,1934.
Note (ii):- For the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Backward Class,
Economically weaker section (EWS) Categories relaxation in upper age limit of 5
years shall be given as per Govt. Instruction is issued from time to time.
Education Qualification
i) The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized education Board/Institution.
ii) Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects.
iii) No extra weightage will be given to the candidate for Higher education.
Salary
Selected candidates for HSSC Police Constable Recruitment 2024 will get a salary of 21,700/- (Level-3) per month.
Selection Process
Haryana Staff Selection Commission shall invite an adequate number of candidates on the basis of merit obtained by them in the Common Eligibility Test (CET), for the Physical Measurement Test and then for Physical Screening Test both of which shall be of qualifying nature only. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission may do so in such
number of batches, as it deems necessary, so as to shortlist qualified candidates equal to four times the number of advertised posts of each category for the Knowledge Test.
